Up Date on Marjorie
Car Accident 11/09/07 Marjorie Cantrell
Well, I have some news and not good news, I have been very busy the past 2 days. On Friday morning my Mother-in-law, Marjorie, was in a very bad car accident. It was foggy, and as she went through the light onto Hwy 62 she got hit by a speeding F-250 Ford Truck, she was in a Grand Marque, it wiped it out. Spun her around 360 degrees. She is in Norman Regional Hospital with multipal injuries, she has neck fractures at C5/6,6/7 7/T1, also a broken first rib on the left, many cuts and bruises. It literally rattled her brain, her eyes are crossed and pretty much non responsive, Dr. Razook came in today and said nothing is torn or messed up, in time they will correct themselves. She should be okay, but it will be a long road back to complete recovery. Dr. Neese is taking care of her, he is an Ortho/Neuro Physcian. I will up-date regularly on her condition and progress. Right now, she is not talking or eating, the rib is very painful. She lays there with her eyes closed but of course they are keeping her heavily sedatied right now, they are giving her Dalaudid for the pain. I guess everything that is wrong will heal in time and sleep is the best thing for her at this point and time. Keep us all in your Prayers. Until nextime, Bye

IT IS A BEAUTIFUL SUNDAY

I am going to try and do this more often. I have been doing well, have started a new medicine that seem to be working for my feet. Most of the pain is gone, but the other symptoms are still there but they don't hurt and that is what matters. Although walking is still a task I am starting to get around better.
My Mom and Sissy both sold their homes and are buying a business building that has a house and an upstaris appartment, a business area and a shop area, I have only seen it from the outside and it is huge, they should be happy there, both with their own space and close enough to watch over each other. Mom is starting to get up in her years, and my Sissy has her health problems also. But they are getting along. Chrissy and they children went back to North Carolina, so now Mom and Sissy don't have that stress now either.
Well, this is a very beautiful day to be out, I hope everyone is doing fine and healthy.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL !!

Today, October 7, 2007
I just found out that my Disability claim will not even be reviewed until somewhere around April. This has me very upset and there is nothing I can do about it. The only good news I have is that my attorney said that the paperwork my Doctor filled out will indeed win my case, and I should have about two and a half years of back pay all at once. If Social Security ever gets thier heads out of thier butts and gets it done.
Until then I guess we will just struggle along in this so called life.
I will write more later, when I am in a better mood.
MY LOVE TO EVERYONE

A Rainy Day

Hi Everyone,
This has been an enlightening day, there is a lot of flooding going on here right now, Kingfisher got hit hard very early this morning. They showed on the television 3 live rescues. Then this afternoon I watched a show about people being evacuated from areas of Hurricane Rita and the Humane Society of the United States were rescuing pets that people were told they had to leave behind. Who in their right mind would abandon their loving pets? My pets are my children and there is no way I would leave any of them behind. Would you? Could you turn your back on the most loving creatures in your life? It would not even enter my mind to leave without them. This story showed a 73 year old man that was told he could not take his cat, she, "Tom Cat" was left behind, this man was crying because he did not know what had happened to her, she was left inside the home. He had to sneak back into New Orleans and was in tears as he went into the house, he called her name, and then called 4 more times for her, then he heard her meow, she was there and she was alive. He took her, and did not touch any other article in that house that belonged to him, not one other possession, except for "Tom Cat". As quoted at the end of the show by the Louisiana Humane Society "The rescuers should be telling people to bring all their pet not to leave them behind"
Have a good night and May God Bless You All!!
Suzi
